- Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates clinical treatment programs.
- Provides outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
- Administers specialized therapeutic procedures and conducts psychoeducational classes.
- Conducts psychological assessments and prepares intake summaries and treatment plans.
- Collaborates in evaluating patients for psychotropic medications.
- Utilizes community resources to meet treatment needs and provides clinical supervision to mental health trainees.
- Reports safety concerns to mandated agencies.
- Participates in on-call shifts per rotation.
- Completion of a psychology doctoral internship (1500 hours).
- PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical, Counseling, Health, or School Psychology.
- Current valid registration as a Psychological Assistant.
- Employee must obtain state licensure within two years.
- Accumulate required supervisory hours annually.
- Must be familiar with DSM-V for diagnosis and have experience in assessing and treating psychiatric conditions.
- Competence in psychotherapy and ethical integrity.
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and work in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and APA standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership.
- Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention, psychotherapy, and psychological evaluations.
- Professional maturity and commitment to quality of service and teamwork.
- Accuracy in diagnosing patients and developing effective treatment plans.
