    Summary

    As a Supervisory National Bank Examiner/Bank Examiner (Large Bank Technical Team Lead), you will serve as an expert resource providing advanced technical leadership, advice and support for highly challenging and complex supervisory activities in Commercial Credit, Retail Credit and Asset Management.

    Duties

    As a Supervisory National Bank Examiner/Bank Examiner (Large Bank Technical Team Lead), you will:
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor commercial credit, retail credit and asset management supervisory activities, including assessing risk, developing supervisory strategies, determining the scope of supervisory activities and developing responses to address risks.
  • Serve as lead examiner and provide authoritative technical guidance, leadership and direction for commercial credit, retail credit and asset management supervisory activities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of commercial credit, retail credit and asset management functions, identify systemic risks and trends, and recommend changes in examination policy and procedures.
  • Serve as expert resource providing technical advice and support for commercial credit, retail credit and asset management activities.
  • Participate in strategy development/planning and conducting examinations, preparation of reports and presentation of findings and recommendations.
  • Make decisions on assignment of work, providing feedback on performance, ensure the effective use of human and financial resources.
  • May also include coverage of other specialty areas (BIT, capital markets, compliance, mortgage banking, operational risk and/or safety & soundness) as appropriate given the needs and functional/organizational structure of the bank team.
