Job Title: Cisco Network Engineer

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cisco Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. The Cisco Network Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficient operation of our network systems.

Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and implement Cisco-based network solutions to support organizational requirements.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, Fortinet firewalls, and other networking devices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address network-related requirements.
Ensure network security through the implementation of security measures, Fortinet firewalls, and VPNs.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
Conduct regular system upgrades, installations, and maintenance tasks.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to network configurations, processes, and procedures.
Collaborate with vendors to procure, test, and implement new hardware and software solutions.
Participate in on-call support and respond to network emergencies promptly.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Cisco Network Engineer or similar role.
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certifications is a plus
Solid understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, and BGP.
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco networking equipment.
Experience with network monitoring tools and network security protocols.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of cloud networking solutions is a plus.
