Currently, Check-Mate Manufacturing is looking for skilled Tool and Die Makers.

• Responsibilities:

• Build, repair, and maintain dies, fixtures, and other tooling as per specifications
• Read tool & die designs, prints, and possess basic shop math knowledge
• Develop, maintain, and repair stamping dies based on engineering blueprints and verbal instructions
• Support production department with tooling requirements
• Ensure safe operation of tool room equipment
• Produce high-quality work within set timelines
• Identify and address tooling issues independently
• Lead continuous improvement and emergency repair projects
• Utilize precise measuring equipment and standard tool room machinery

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Journeyman Tool & Die Maker or completion of an apprenticeship with at least 4 years of training
• Minimum 5 years' experience in precision stamping from progressive dies
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and EDM is a plus
• Proficiency in operating milling machines, drill presses, grinders, lathes, etc.
• CNC machine experience is desirable
