- Monitor and assess the performance and capacity of end-to-end IT systems using various tools.
- Triage hardware, software, and environmental issues, alerts, or malfunctions.
- Identify issues, determine root causes, and provide solutions to users.
- Function as the initial point of contact for all on-site issues, requiring a broad knowledge of key systems across multiple locations.
- 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off rotation.
- Each team works the same shift (day or night) for 2-3 months before switching to the other shift for the following 2-3 months.
- Monitor, evaluate, and rectify IT systems, network, and satellite ground stations.
- Liaise with various stakeholders for swift resolution of issues.
- Provide operational support to customers in the field round the clock.
- Utilize monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Splunk, and WireShark for network monitoring and issue response.
- Support Networking team with Layer 1/2/3 activities and documentation.
- Analyze key mission capabilities and offer feedback to customers.
- Maintain positive customer relationships.
- Conduct regular checks on systems, infrastructure, and critical hardware.
- Assist Engineering staff in software testing and network validation.
- Support Configuration Management using BMC Remedy.
- Respond promptly to customer support requests.
- Participate in scheduled exercises and drills.
- Create and update SOP/TTP documentation.
- 5+ years of IT/Network administration experience.
- TS/SCI or DoE Q Clearance.
- Proficiency in monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, or WireShark.
- Familiarity with critical physical infrastructure.
- Experience in Linux and Windows system administration and networking.
- DoD 8570 Certification required.
- Estimated salary range: $110,802 - $138,000.
- Salary determined based on experience, location, and possibly contractual requirements.

The Network Administrator will act as a Mission Support Operator (MSO), delivering 24/7, 365 days, 12-hour shift, Tier 1/2 operational support to end customers and users globally.
Although somewhat akin to a civilian Emergency Operations Center for law enforcement agencies, this role involves unique responsibilities in handling 911 notifications.
This position differs from a traditional Network Engineer or System Administration role but having a background in either can expedite training for proficiency within months.
The nature of the missions is demanding and challenging, with no work-from-home option. A strong foundation in Information Technology is essential.
Panama Shift Schedule | 24/7 Shift Coverage: This entails a slow rotating shift pattern employing multiple teams and two 12-hour shifts to ensure continuous coverage.
