    Job DescriptionWallick is looking for a full -time Housekeeper to spend 2 days/week at the Reservoir Estates apartments and 3 days/week at Parkview Estates apartments in Peoria, Illinois.

    This position pays $15.00/hr.

    Position Summary: In accordance with the Wallick Mission and Values, the Housekeeper maintains physical interior and exterior appearance of all common areas of a community. Benefits:

    Functions and Responsibilities:
    • Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
    • Picks up and disposes of inside and outside trash.
    • Services, cleans and stocks the community restrooms.
    • Cleans windows, glass partitions and mirrors using the appropriate cleaning liquids.
    • Cleans and/or dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.
    • Assists the property Maintenance Technician with some maintenance work if needed.
    • Performs cleaning duties to assist the property Maintenance Technician in the turnover of vacant apartments.
    • Provides a list to the Manager of cleaning supplies to be ordered.
    • Maintains inventory and stocks the mechanical and maintenance rooms.
    • Performs light maintenance tasks such as cleaning AC filters, clearing clogged sinks and toilets.
    Physical Demands: Position requires extensive walking, stooping/bending, balancing, kneeling, squatting and climbing. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Requires talking, seeing and hearing with reasonable accommodation. Work Environment: Position requires work to be performed indoors and outside. Indoor working conditions are often inside a residence within the community or common areas. Outside work is throughout the community grounds and outdoor common areas.
