- Design and develop microcontroller (C) and FPGA firmware (Verilog/VHDL)
- Oversee design validation and verification testing of embedded hardware and firmware systems
- Oversee development of Mixed Signal Analog and high-speed Digital Electronic hardware designs
- including architecture development, component selection, schematic capture, and review of PCB layout as needed for military and/or avionics products
- Significant experience (12+ years) in the design of embedded systems hardware and firmware for high reliability or mission critical systems (Military/Aerospace)
- A history of developing real time, deterministic firmware to control, monitor, and supervise embedded electronics hardware in mission critical military and industrial systems
- Effective communication skills (oral and written) including generating engineering design drawings/documentation and presenting design progress during major project milestones (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR)
- Intellisense primarily utilizes Altium Designer with Concord Pro and Xilinx Vivado, therefore experience with these design packages
