    Job Description

    MGC Contractors, Inc is seeking Concrete Laborers, Formsetters, and Finishers to join our team in Arizona.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES FOR CONCRETE LABORER

    • Spread Concrete into forms using a rake or shovel.
    • Mix cement using a hoe or concrete mixing machine.
    • Repair concrete surfaces using pneumatic tools.
    • Clean work areas to maintain a safe job site.
    • Fine grade soil for proper concrete thickness.
    • Select tools and materials for job sites.
    • Complete any assigned tasks.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES FOR FORMSETTER

    • Set up forms on-site according to blueprints.
    • Insert spreaders and tie rods for dimensions.
    • Anchor forms using nails and bolts.
    • Cut lumber for form panels.
    • Complete any assigned tasks.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES FOR CONCRETE FINISHER

    • Coordinate concrete delivery.
    • Spread and level concrete.
    • Shape and finish concrete surfaces.
    • Repair concrete surfaces.
    • Create various concrete finishes.
    • Complete any assigned tasks.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Work on construction sites and lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Work in various weather conditions.
    • Potential exposure to chemicals and noise.

    POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

    • This is a full-time position with occasional overtime.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • 6-12 months of related experience preferred.
    • Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
