    This is a part time position working approximately 20 hours per week Monday - Friday; there is some flexibility in the work hours.

    Position Summary

    The Marketing Assistant will play a key role in supporting the marketing department by assisting with various tasks aimed at driving marketing initiatives forward. Responsibilities will include creating content in alignment with the marketing calendar, collecting and analyzing monthly performance metrics, researching new trends in the industry, providing support for events, and addressing any other advertising tasks as required. The Marketing Assistant will work closely with team members throughout the Bank to contribute to the overall success of marketing campaigns and projects.

    The Marketing Assistant must have exceptional writing skills, strong organizational capabilities, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency in design. Ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction according to our Culture of CARE.

    Responsible for ensuring established bank policies and procedures are followed. Understands and completes job responsibilities in accordance with federal and state compliance regulations.

    Essential Job Functions

    1. Digital Media Management:
      1. Assist in managing the bank's digital presence across various platforms, including social media channels, websites, and online advertising.
      2. Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for digital campaigns.
      3. Monthly Planning Assistance:
      4. Support the marketing team in developing monthly marketing plans and initiatives.
      5. Coordinate with internal associates to gather necessary information for campaign execution.
    2. Email Campaigns:
      1. Assist in the creation, execution, and monitoring of email marketing campaigns.
      2. Ensure emails are optimized for deliverability and engagement.
    3. Content Creation:
      1. Write informative and engaging monthly blogs on topics relevant to banking, finance, and community involvement.
      2. Assist in crafting compelling content for newsletters and other marketing materials.
    4. Inventory Management:
      1. Maintain inventory of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and promotional items.
      2. Coordinate with vendors to restock inventory as needed.
    5. Monthly Analytics:
      1. Assist in gathering and analyzing data from various marketing initiatives.
      2. Prepare monthly reports on key performance indicators to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
    6. Other job-related duties may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.

    Software/Technology

    Operate a personal computer in a Windows environment for word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, internet / intranet, and other bank specific software. Utilizes a variety of office equipment including computer printer, calculator, fax/scanner/copier, and multi-line telephone.

    Minimum Qualifications

    1. In process of, or have already obtained, degree in marketing or graphic design.
    2. Understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, email marketing software, and content management systems.
    3. Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    4. A basic understanding of compliance and how it relates to marketing is preferred.

    Working Conditions

    Work is performed largely in an office environment, during normal business hours. Deadline pressure is an integral part of the job. Regular mental and visual concentration for computer usage and reading/assimilating complex and technical compliance information is required. Position will alternate between walking, sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds of office supplies and/or documents throughout work shift.
