    DuPont is seeking to hire a Health Services Leader for the Americas Region to provide strategic direction and oversight of all North and Latin America occupational health services.


    The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing outsourced vendor relationships, cost, and performance; ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements; continually assessing policies and programs and driving change as appropriate; and collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the enterprise to effectively communicate, implement and administer occupational health programs.

    The position will report to the Global Safety and Health Leader in DuPont's enterprise-wide leveraged environmental, health and safety (EHS) organization.


    The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, creative, conscientious individual who will bring a passion for people to ensure that health services is a fundamental component of business success.


    Preference is that successful candidate be located at our Wilmington, DE headquarters or in proximity to a DuPont manufacturing location in the US.

    Expected traveling of approximately 30% to Latin America, US & Canada.

    The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
    Drive Americas Health Services Team to further develop and improve standards, strategies, compliance, and standardization.
    Prepare and deliver leadership level presentations.

    Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including Operations, Business Leadership, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Communications, Human Resources (HR), Procurement, Security, Legal, and third-party Occupational Health contractors and consultants.

    Develop mechanism and process for medical directives/standing orders, SOPs and policies/procedures for occupational health nurses and mid-level providers.
    Establish a system for consistent reporting of injuries and illnesses during afterhours.
    Develop and foster relationships with external occupational health clinics and providers.
    Participate as a critical member of the DuPont Pandemic Team. Assist with assessment and tracing of exposures and infectious diseases within the workplace.
    Consult on incident investigation to identify root cause analysis of work-related or possible work- related injuries/illnesses when needed. Provide real time support, advice, assistance, and oversight.

    Provide expertise to Leave Coordinator and Workers Compensation program, including providing case management strategies for all employee work-related injuries and/or illnesses for the purpose of reducing illness and absenteeism, and facilitating return to work.

    Oversee Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) medical surveillance programs, including Respiratory Protection Program, Hearing Conservation Program, HAZWOPER physicals and be knowledgeable regarding FMCSA regulations for DOT exams.

    Be active in the site level recruitment, interviewing and conducting on-boarding activities for new health services team members.
    Manage budget​ and work with Procurement to leverage DuPont buying power for external health services.
    Evaluate and eliminate non-value-adding programs.
    Maintain confidentiality of health information in accordance with professional codes, statutes, and regulations.

    Continue professional development to enhance professional growth and maintain competency in the form of ongoing continuing education and certification to support licensing requirements.

    Participate in external professional occupational organizations.


    Qualifications:
    Master's Degree of Science in Nursing, a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP), a nationally certified Physician Assistant (PA) or Physician (MD)
    Minimum of five years recent clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Clinician
    At least 10 years' experience in occupational health and workers compensation
    Current and valid NP, PA, or Physician license.
    Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, and/or occupational environment
    Current CDS registration
    Solid knowledge of and experience in:OSHA Regulations and Compliance

    Experience working with Industrial Hygiene, Safety, Physical Therapy, Ergonomics

    Ability to multi-task and prioritize complex workload.
    Ability to foster productive, collaborative relationships at all levels of an organization.
    Demonstrated ability to meet commitments, troubleshoot and solve problems.
    Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative manner in a multidisciplinary team.
    Demonstrated skills in planning, scheduling, and budget maintenance.
    Working knowledge in clinical and technical areas.

    Excellent communication skills (written and oral): give clear direction, strong negotiation skills, ability to confront difficult and adverse situations with a calm and collaborative approach.

    Proficient with e-mail, internet browsers, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint
    Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
    Ability and willingness to work long hours in emergency situations.
    CAOHC Audiometric and NIOSH Spirometry certifications preferred.
    Experience with Cority a plus
    Proficiency in Spanish a plus
