Description

Provide systems administration support to the Red, Hunt and Blue teams supporting national Cybersecurity Defensive Operations.
You will work closely with a team of professional systems administrators, developers and mission operators.
Position provides an opportunity to learn from other team members and share you knowledge with a receptive team.

The work location is Laurel with convenient parking.

Capabilities Applying IAVAs and other updatesSupport laptop builds for mission operationsProvide administrative support for Splunk ClusterVM build and supportCentos administrationSome possible Windows AdministrationWork with developers and operators to define requirements and design solutionsKnowledge of network engineering but position is limited in scope when it comes to networking engineering support requiredRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience or Master's degree in plus 3 years of relevant experience.

An Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the positionDegree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.

TS/SCI clearance with polygraphRequired Technical Skills Familiarity with NutanixFamiliarity with Splunk, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Airflow, GitLab, Jira.
Experience supporting hardware installation, supporting servers, desktops, network infrastructure.
Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage or remote storage.
Experience implementing security best practices.
Familiarity with maintaining inventory of infrastructure hardware.
