    Operations SupervisorSUMMARYOversees the daily objectives set by the Supervisor and makes sure the daily department workvolumes are completed. Contributes to a work team environment and interfaces with employeesand customers. Assures associates maintain good manufacturing practices (GMP) as well asmaintain product specifications. Extreme attention to detail is required.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
    Additional responsibilities may be assigned. Organizes production by reviewing, planning, and allocating orders.

    Schedule transportation appointments with various carriers, trucking companies andFreight Forwarders for pick up/ delivery times as well as receipt of clients returns andinbound warehoused freight.

    Maintains quality by following good manufacturing practices (GMPs), and standardoperating procedures (SOPs). Documents production by completing end of day reports and updates inventories.

    Must have a thorough understanding of all department processes and be able to trainothers in all aspects of processes, policies and procedures.

    Works with Supervisor to ensure implementation of new strategies and initiatives toeffectively meet or exceed customer expectations Responsible for leading their team in accomplishing new and different requests;exploring opportunities to add value to the department Maintains production standards by monitoring work execution to assure that onlyauthorized and trained processes are being used, including proper use of equipment.

    MISCELLANEOUS DUTIESCross training in additional duties may be needed.2SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESAbility to lead and direct associates daily.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCESome college and High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred, but not required; Generalwarehouse experience:
    Knowledge of WMS; Good computer skills. Forklift Certification. PastCustomer Services experience a plus.
    LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenanceinstructions and correspondence.
    MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to physically count, add, subtract, multiply and divide.
    REASONING ABILILTYAbility to define problems establishes facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to applycommonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
