- Tasks involve medication administration, patient care, role modeling, documentation, crisis intervention, and ensuring patient safety.
- Administer nursing care to patients with behavioral health conditions
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms and behaviors
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists for patient care
- Educate patients on health maintenance and behavioral health disorders
- Support patient referrals to healthcare professionals and facilities
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of patient records
- Provide emotional support and advice to patients and families
- Manage medication administration and coordination with pharmacists
- Coordinate necessary medical services for residents
- Oversee the provision of physical and dental care to residents within set timelines
- Lead and assign tasks to direct care staff based on resident needs
- Hold a current Georgia RN or LPN license
- Preferably possess prior experience in the mental health field
- Minimum age of 21 and a valid driver's license
- Successful completion of pre-employment screenings
- Preferable background in behavioral health patient care
