    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel assignment requiring a TN or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in a hospital setting on the 3 East Medical unit (Med/Surg)
    • Patients include adult medical-surgical cases
    • 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
    • 13-week contract assignment
    • No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
    • Primary responsibilities include providing direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
    • Professional attire or hospital-provided scrubs required
    • First-time travelers may be considered for this assignment

    Requirements

    • Active TN or compact RN license required
    • Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
    • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required, with no expiration within the first 30 days of the contract
    • No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
    • U.S. Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration
    • At least one professional reference required for consideration
