    Role Description:

    Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in Gulf Shores. Enhance daily living and educational skills of children with diverse conditions. Pediatric experience is preferred but not required; a love for children is a must Provide client-centered services for improved performance in school, home, and the community. Join a supportive work environment where we treat our patients like family.

    Expectations:
    • Therapist documentation is completed timely.
    • Informing Lead OT when resources/evaluations/protocols need to be ordered.
    • Attending weekly staffing meetings.
    • Performing treatment to assigned patients as indicated on the schedule.
    • Treating clients, including additional tasks to provide patient care.
    • Documenting to support progress - SOAP notes completed on a timely basis. (Point of service documentation is expected)
    • Submitting treatment charges before leaving the clinic each day.
    • Maintaining appropriate cleanliness.
    • Identification of any concerns to Lead OT.
    • Participate in fun The SpOT Clinic social media and community awareness efforts.
    • Communicating and teaching the positive culture and core values of The SpOT Clinic to families and the community.
    • Fostering an environment that promotes communication and accountability among team members.
    • Support Lead, Clinic Manager, COO, CFO and CEO.
    • Excellent attendance/punctuality, creativity, ability to problem solve, and professionalism.
    Qualifications:
    • Professional behavior.
    • Hands-on experience with computer programs and creative media.
    • Familiarity with ADLs evaluation tools.
    • Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities and behaviors.
    • Current knowledge of treatment practices per discipline and drive to continually learn and grow in the profession.
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
    • Valid license to practice occupational therapy assistant or be in the process of obtaining a license.
    • Possesses expertise in utilizing Google Suite products professionally.
