    Description

    Key responsibilities:
    Conduct routine inspections of forklifts to identify issues and recommend repairs.

    Perform maintenance and repairs on Hyster electrical forklifts, including but not limited to engine, transmission, brakes, and hydraulic systems.

    Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical problems accurately.
    Replace and repair damaged or worn parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
    Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
    Conduct safety checks and ensure that forklifts meet all safety regulations and standards.
    Assist in the procurement of spare parts and maintain an organized inventory.
    Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
    Stay up to date with industry advancements and best practices in forklift maintenance.
    Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

    Requirements:

    3-5 years of mechanic experience on electrical forklifts
    High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in forklift repair preferred.
    Strong knowledge of forklift systems, engines, and hydraulic systems.
    Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
    Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to safety protocols.
    Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
    Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools effectively.
    Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
