    Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, University of Colorado Hospital, Aurora, CO

    Department: Pharmacy Atrium

    Work Schedule: PRN, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

    Shift: Day and Evening Rotation

    Pay: $ $25.57 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

    This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

    Summary:
    Performs select pharmacist duties as a student under the supervision of a precepting pharmacist.

    Requirements:
    • Enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy and in good standing.
    • State Pharmacy Intern licensure.
    Responsibilities:
    • Reviews and assesses medication orders to identify potential and actual drug related problems.
    • Compounds medications for retail sales and/or delivery to patient care areas.
    • Provides drug information and education to patients.
    • Communicates with physicians and other clinicians as necessary to facilitate care.
    • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
