    *Job Summary: *In accordance with the organization's mission, vision and values, the Ontario County DSS Case Manager is responsible for case management for individuals in need of addictions services.

    *Must Have Qualifications & Skills: * _*Associates Degree in Health/Human Services.*_
    * _*Valid NYS Drivers' License.*_
    * _*Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage client visits utilizing personal vehicle.*_
    * _*Ability to accurately administer and monitor drug tests with meticulous attention to detail.*_
    * _*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.*_
    * _*Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with culturally diverse persons, staff and community service providers.*_
    * _*Knowledge of local behavioral health system.*_
    * _*Ability to multi-task, have good problem solving and time management skills and the ability to remain calm in crisis.*_

    *Duties:
    • Responsible for, but not limited to, providing direct diagnostic evaluative services to clients referred to this Agency by many varied referral sources. To assess the client's primary and secondary diagnosis and, thus, need for further counseling.
    • Participate in general, staff, in-service and supervisory meetings held by the Agency.
    • Maintain positive and effective relationships with community groups, referral sources and service agencies.
    • Participate in community presentations and training programs.
    • Provide counseling to assist clients in the development of appropriate interpersonal, problem-solving and decision making skills.
    • Demonstrates teamwork and an ability to work in a team environment with coworkers and supervisors. Demonstrates the ability to be flexible and cooperative.
    • Responds appropriately to crisis/emergency situations in order to ensure/secure the safety/well-being of the clients.
    • Assures all documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with agency/OASAS regulations, practices, policies & procedures.
    • Demonstrates professionalism by providing quality service and care with respect and dignity for the clients and as a representative of FLACRA.
    • Perform other duties and functions as directed.
    • Supply identified clients direct therapeutic services through individual, conjoint, family and/or group therapy.
    • With self-direction and competence, carry out the Agency's responsibilities to its clientele. Handle intake and service load with independent judgment using self-initiated consultation in technical problems of diagnostic evaluation in treatment techniques.
