Yield Analyst I
position is responsible for managing allocation and distribution of rental inventory and rates for a portfolio of hotels/resorts both domestic and internationally.
Analyze competitive price sets and market demand with the goal to interpret trends to maximize top line revenue and sales leads while balancing the need for occupancy at each resort.
Evaluate channel production and occupancies to determine best inventory distribution/availability by channel and adjust rates based on market trends, demand and internal/external reporting.
Collaborate with rental sales and marketing teams to optimize and expand promotions, campaigns and new distribution channels.
Essential Job Functions
This position will support the Asia Pacific region and requires the ability to work flexible overnight hours (Tuesday-Saturday).
Review current and historical booking pace, pricing strategies, inventory and occupancy for each hotel/resort within the designated portfolio to determine pricing and distribution opportunities.
Determine proper rate positioning and inventory relative to the competition for each resort to achieve budgeted goals such as but not limited to revenue, ADR and room nights.
Ensure rate parity is maintained across all distribution channels.
Maintain current market knowledge for competitors, special events affecting demand and seasonal strategies.
Research and troubleshoot as needed for matters related to system update errors, parity, functionality, configuration, etc.
Establish annual budget, pricing structure and seasonal demand calendar.
Utilize historical and current bookings trends to forecast
Partner with Inventory Management/Resort Team for allocation opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing to implement seasonal campaigns and ad hoc promotional opportunities.
Coordinate with resort and admin teams for changes to reservation fulfillment.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
4 year degree in finance, business management or related field
Knowledge and skills
Familiarity with the timeshare and/or hospitality industries.
Strong analytical approach to problem solving.
Ability to forecast and implement optimal strategies.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to take initiative.
Attention to detail.
Must be able to remain focused and detailed to maintain accuracy in a busy office or working from home environment.
Must have strong collaborative skills.

Technical Skills
Extensive knowledge operating Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoom, Access, and Teams
Knowledge of TravelClick iHotelier Suite, including Channel Management Reservation Solutions
Knowledge of TravelClick Rate360/Revenue Strategy 360
Knowledge of Sabre Synxis Central Reservation System
Knowledge of Third Party Extranets such as Expedia Partner Central, , etc.
Knowledge of GDS
Knowledge of Power BI
Knowledge of Micros Opera (PMS)
Knowledge of Realta (PMS)
Knowledge of Hirum (PMS)
Job experience
3 years of Resort Operations, Pricing or Revenue Management experience
