    Description
    Senior Network Architect - Pentagon The Senior Network Architect Subject Matter Expert (SME) will play a crucial role as the foremost authority in shaping the architectural design, development, and deployment of the enterprise's comprehensive systems
    This SME is expected to possess a track record of defining system solutions tailored to client requirements, cost considerations, and seamless integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms
    They will actively research, pinpoint, select, and rigorously test technology products essential for delivering effective solutions
    Additionally, this SME should have expertise in formulating, executing, and documenting technology integration and migration strategies

    Qualifications & Education:

    • Over a decade of professional experience
    • A minimum of three years of relevant DoD IT experience in an Architecture Role
    • Must hold at least a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
    • Demonstrated proficiency with creating, managing, and maintaining network architectural drawings and schematic diagrams for a minimum of three years
    • Three or more years of hands-on experience providing design and implementation support for VMware ESX/VSphere Virtualization Technologies
    • Proven track record of three years or more in providing design and implementation support for Storage Area Network (SAN)
    • At least three years of experience in fostering collaboration and cooperation with primary system vendors
    • Three years of experience in devising innovative, secure technical solutions to fulfill system owner's functional requirements
    • Documented three years of experience in managing technical documentation for the design, testing, implementation, and transition of solutions to operational support
    • A demonstrated three-year history of producing documentation for configuring, repairing, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network operating systems
    • Three years of experience in implementing virtual and physical servers and applications based on network application requirements
    • A track record of three years in independently verifying, validating, and managing current and future projects
    • Three years of experience supporting the DoD Information Assurance Risk Management Framework (DIARMF)
    • Documented three years of experience in managing Microsoft infrastructures, encompassing Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP, among other components
    • Three years of hands-on experience working with current, enterprise-class infrastructure and system engineering on Microsoft platforms deployed on client servers, including direct-attached and network-attached storage
    • Demonstrated leadership capability with a three-year track record in designing, implementing, and managing high-availability systems
    • Proven three years of experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions and technologies applicable to virtual and physical environments
    • A documented three-year working experience with VMware ESX/VSphere Virtualization Technologies, including ESXi 6.5 or higher, Virtual Center, and P2V Tools, covering design, implementation, and management.
