Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close and far range with or without vision correction. ? Specific hearing requirements include the ability to hear within normal limits with or without the use of hearing aids. ? Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding, fine motor tasks). ? The employee may be required to travel to and work at multiple agency locations if necessary. Transportation time may be spent commuting between sites and assisting with student supervision and participation in school events and activities.

Qualifications:
1. Education Level: A minimum of a high school diploma, its equivalent, currently enrolled in High School, or demonstrated proficiency through previous job experience and/or training in related performance responsibilities listed below.
2. Certification: None required
3. Experience Desired: None required
4. Other Requirements: The ability to lift fifty (50) pounds is an essential job requirement. Able to read and interpret basic cleaning supplies directions and/or instructions. Capable of physical exertion to manually lift, push, pull, bend and carry heavy objects and materials. Must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the Board of Education.
General Summary: The Part-Time Seasonal Grounds Maintenance staff is primarily responsible for the landscaping and upkeep of designated green spaces and grounds across the district during the active season (approximately March-October; 20-25 hours weekly). This role involves performing a variety of tasks focused on maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of the landscape. The staff member will collaborate with building staff and maintenance to uphold community standards and enhance the school's green spaces. A strong work ethic and a commitment to outdoor work are essential for success in this position.
Performance Responsibilities:
1. Plan and prioritize daily work to maintain green spaces at a high standard
2. Operate mowers, tractors, vehicles and other small equipment
3. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools in landscape maintenance
4. Assist in routine maintenance of such equipment
5. Maintain landscape, including flower beds, shrubs, lawn, and other natural features
6. Assist with athletic fields as necessary
7. Pick up litter across the district
8. Perform general maintenance as needed for outdoor facilities
9. Maintain a positive, customer focused image of the Reeds Spring School District.
10.Performs all duties with appropriate safety and security standards
11.Other duties assigned by Superintendent or designee
