    Job Description for Registered Nurse (RN)

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals.

    The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience as a RN in a hospital setting, with a strong focus on providing exceptional patient care.

    This is a per diem/flex/PRN float position, offering a base rate of $40/hour plus variable shift incentives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients.
    • Float between designated Mercy Hospital facilities in the East Region, including Critical Care, Tele, Med/surg, Women Health, L&D, Behavioral Health, and ER departments.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.

    Requirements:

    • Current Multistate Registered Nurse License.
    • Minimum 1 year's RN hospital bedside experience, specialty-specific, within the last year.
    • BLS certification. Additional certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
    • Preferred Education: BSN.
    • Preferred Experience: 2 years RN experience.
