POSITION SUMMARYThe Ultrasound Technologist will perform and interpret urological ultrasounds through GLA division's offices. This is a traveling position.

What you will be doingOperation of ultrasound equipment to capture optimal images for various urologic ultrasound exams which include abdominal, renal, pelvic, scrotal, TRUS ultrasounds.

Evaluate ultrasound exam results to identify expected and unexpected outcomes given the procedure plan as well as whether appropriate test guidelines and protocols were followedReport and summarize technical inferences and clinical findings Helping patients prepare for the procedure by explaining the process, helping them to move to the table, and preparing the skin surface by applying gel before using the equipmentCommunicate effectively with the patient and maintain his/her comfort level during the examinationWhat you will bring to the teamMust have at least 2 years of Ultrasound experience, urology experience preferredMust be comfortable with various ultrasound machinesARDMS AB certification Required.
