EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

As the Pool Manager, you'll be the leader of the aquatic pack, collaborating with the Aquatics Supervisor and Aquatics Recreation Coordinator to steer our facility towards success. If you're ready to turn your passion for aquatics into a leadership adventure, this role is for youEnsures the safety of facility users by following state and local safety regulations; enforces safety guidelines that are consistent with departmental policies.Responsible for the collection of fees, the preparation of bank deposits, and departmental records and reports, including payroll.Monitors and records checklists and water chemistry, notifies supervisor of chemical inventory and equipment supplies.Supervises the maintenance and operation of the aquatic facilities by working with Recreation Maintenance Supervisor, the Parks division and outside vendors through the Aquatics Supervisor.Conducts weekly in-service training; evaluates and gives instruction to lifeguards; organizes opportunities for staff to regularly practice various life guarding skills.Conducts trainings as needed with pool cashier staff. Monitors admissions and concessions areas throughout the shift.Promotes public relations with facility users and organizations.Establishes performance measures for subordinates and evaluates employee performance against those standards.Performs related duties as directed when such duties are a logical and appropriate assignment to the position.Regular and timely attendance are required for this position.Interacts professionally and respectfully with the public, coworkers, and others in the course of daily work.Click this LINK to view the full job description
