Job DescriptionOur Client, a Vertically Integrated Cannabis company is looking for a new Accounting Manager to support the growing business needs in Northern California.This is a newly created position that will report directly to the Corporate Controller. The candidate will focus on accounting and reporting matters of the Parent-Co and will be involved in all aspects of corporate accounting and reporting. We are looking for an experienced professional that thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, brings leadership, and is also not afraid to roll-up the sleeves.Job Responsibilities:

• Corporate/Parent-co financial statements
• Monthly close process
• Review of monthly reconciliations
• Inter-co reconciliations
• Assistance with the year-end external audits and interim reviews
• Review of subsidiary-level financial statements
• Create and document accounting and financial reporting processes
• Ad-hoc projects
• Complex accounting and transaction review

Required Skills and Education:

• Bachelor's degree
• Bright, quick learner, self-motivated
• 6-8 years public and private experience
• Leadership experience
• CPA a plus
• An understanding of financial reporting systems, procedures, and controls
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and prioritization capabilities
• Knowledge of IFRS

Compensation: $120,000 plus benefits
