Senior Enviromental EngineerTo provide manufacturing facility support for the ongoing compliance with environmental rules and regulations pertaining to air quality.
Principle Responsibilities:
Specific job duties to include overseeing the refinery emissions monitoring (CEMS) and emissions source testing (stack testing and RATA testing) programs, refinery MACT compliance and reporting and other environmental report
development/implementation.
The successful candidate will have the ability to oversee multiple contractors and develop and maintain good working relationships within the refinery organization and with agency regulators.
Timely preparation and submission of required reports, with coordinated input from relevant areas of expertise is necessary.Required Skills, Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Engineering or Science is required; a B.S. in Chemical Engineering is preferred.
Proficiency with data handling tools, data historian, process variable, and
calculations.
A minimum of ten years of relevant environmental, refining, petrochemical or chemical industry experience is preferred.
Experience with air regulations, including PSD/NSR, CAA, NESHAP, MACT, and developing EJ, regulations is required.
Familiarity with New Jersey Environmental Codes and permitting.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret process data, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations is required.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals is required.Proficiency with basic computerized office systems such as Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
The position involves rotational on-call
responsibilities.
