IT PROJECT MANAGER
Helmet House is the leading U.S. distributor of helmets and apparel in the Motorcycle and Powersports industry.

We are in search of a Project Manager for our IT Department that will work closely with the Chief Digital Officer and Chief Technology Officer.

Our Company was founded in 1969 and has its headquarters and a distribution center in Calabasas Hills, CA along with an eastern distribution point in Southaven, MS.

Our digital marketing team is located in Lake Oswego, OR. For decades Helmet House has supplied Powersports Dealers across the U.S. with two of the world's top helmet brands.

Helmet House is the exclusive US supplier for SHOEI Helmets, Sidi boots, Kriega and Fasthouse, while also distributing Alpinestars, 100%, Molecule, Pinlock, Cardo and Sena to motorcycle dealerships in the United States.

The Tourmaster, Cortech, and NORU motorcycle apparel brands are manufactured and marketed directly by Helmet House. The premium brands we carry represent our commitment to the motorcycle industry and our dealer partners.

With a market-leading sales team located across the country, along with the addition of new brands, Helmet House is on the move and plans to grow significantly over the next five years.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ideal

candidate will have excellent

attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time in-office position at the Calabasas Hills, CA Headquarters.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Working with CDO and CTO on project definitions, including scope, design, timeline, and budget
Working with the CDO and CTO on priorities and resource allocation
Gathering and documenting requirements from stakeholders

Working with development teams:
staff, contractors, and vendors
Managing project lists and task lists
Monitoring projects through completion
Reporting status of projects

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
At least 3 years of project management / project coordination experience
Excellent communication skills required – stakeholders and management
Requires

high levels

of initiative and attention to detail
Must be able to drive new projects from inception to completion with little supervision
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word)
Experience with online project tracking solutions required

Freshdesk experience a plus
SharePoint experience a plus
Jira experience a plus

PMP certification not required but a preferred
Familiarity with formal PM methodologies such as Lean, Agile or Six Sigma
