Our Global Supply Chain Summer Interns are given the opportunity for hands-on experience within the Spirits industry. The Process Engineer Intern will work alongside distillery operations on optimizing our fermentation process at Booker Noe Distillery.
*Role Responsibilities*
- 60% Assigned projects
- 20% Networking and mentoring
- 20% day-to-day support of Booker Noe Distillery
Qualifications
- Interns must be 21 by the start of the internship in June 2026.
- Interns must be pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university and are preferably a rising senior or enrolled in a graduate program
- Ability to perform tasks independently and efficiently, paying close attention to detail and procedures
- Strong problem-solving & communication skills, working with others for input, clearly documenting work and results
- Self-starter, flexible, comfortable working in unstructured fast-paced environment, and able to manage multiple priorities effortlessly
- Team player with collaborative style and good listening skills. Culturally sensitive and proven ability to understand, and work well with others
- Ability to perform material and energy balances
- Ability to perform fluid flow calculations
- Must be able to climb ladders and walk up and down stairs
- Must be able to walk moderate distances - up to a mile
- Must be able to tolerate extreme heat and cold for short periods of time
- Must be authorized to work in the US
