Title: IT - Strategic Digital Transformation Architect
Location: Annandale, VA
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months with possible renewal
Visa: H1B/GC/USC
We are looking for an experienced Digital Transformation Manager to lead our company's digital transformation initiatives. This is a critical hands-on role responsible for developing and executing strategies to improve business processes in various parts of the organization using appropriate technology solutions. The transformation efforts should enhance our operations, products/services, and customer experience. Primarily the focus would be on implementing tools like a new Intranet, Mobile application platform etc. Demonstrated experience leading Digital Transformations is key for success in this role. Prior experience in education and/or
large-scale government transformation activities would be considered.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of the digital transformation roadmap and strategy. Assess current systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement through new technologies.
Research emerging technologies and digital trends that could benefit the Make recommendations on new tools, software, infrastructure etc. that align with business goals.
Manage and lead Digital transformation initiatives like an Intranet implementation, community engagement plans, mobile app etc.
Partner with department heads across the organization to understand pain points and requirements. Identify use cases for digital solutions and work cross-functionally to drive
Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analysis for proposed technology investments and digital transformation programs.
Plan and manage digital transformation projects end-to-end. Coordinate internal teams and external vendors/partners to ensure seamless execution.
Establish KPIs and metrics to track progress of digital transformation Monitor results, issues, risks and prepare reports for leadership and stakeholders.
Evangelize the digital vision and strategy across the Educate and update staff on new technologies and processes to gain buy-in.
Stay up-to-date on technological advancements, industry trends, and innovative practices to inform future digital strategy.
Requirements:
5+ years experience leading digital transformation initiatives
Expertise across emerging technologies like AI, automation, IoT, cloud,
Strong project management skills
Strategic thinker with excellent communication and stakeholder management
Change management experience
Background in software development/engineering is a plus
