Excellent Facility and Staff in San Juan Capistrano is in need of a Medicine Technician

Are you ready to work in a new, beautiful facility in the San Juan Capistrano area?

This is a part-time, hourly position in the healthcare industry. The Medicine Technician will be responsible for providing support to medical staff, performing routine tasks and procedures, and maintaining patient records. This is an individual contributor role, and the ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. At least one year experience required.

Medicine Technician Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $20-$21 per hour, paid weekly, or daily. In addition, this position offers the following benefits:

Medicine Technician Responsibilities:
- Assisting medical staff with patient care, including measuring vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications as directed
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including test results and progress notes
- Ordering and stocking medical supplies
- Providing support to patients and their families, including answering questions and educating them on procedures and treatments
- Maintaining compliance with all healthcare and safety protocols
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for patients
- Must have Certified Medication Aide, First Aid and/or CPR Certifications, if required by state.

Medicine Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 years of experience
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in computer and electronic medical record systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Must pass a background check
