    Strategic Analysis, Inc
    (SA) is seeking a Staff Engineer with knowledge of electromagnetic (EM) environments and the effects of EM environments on electronic systems
    The selected candidate will support the development and management of EM modeling and simulation programs at DTRA
    The position will require interaction with leaders at DTRA, other Department of Defense (DoD) organizations, industry and academia
    Candidates must be able to work independently and within a team environment at SA's Headquarters, DTRA facilities and home

    Required Qualification:

    • At least 5 years of experience in engineering including work that involves EM environments and/or the effects of EM environments on electronic systems.
    • Excellent verbal and written skills, as well as an ability to digest and understand new technical approaches and data sets

    The ability to interpret and synthesize results and translate them into concise and comprehensive artifacts for documenting and communicating to multiple audiences is critical to the position.


    • Experience planning and executing complex systems analysis efforts.
    • Experience in developing system models, constructing and executing simulation and analysis plans, conducting trade studies and/or
    • conducting sensitivity analysis
    Candidates with experience with the DoD verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A) process preferred
    An exceptionally strong candidate would have at least 10 years of experience in at least one of the following:


    • EM testing in the lab or in the field
    • Development of EM modeling and simulation (M&S) software or other physics-based M&S software effects of EM environments on systems Clearance Level
    • Candidates must have an active Secret clearance
    Education


    • Candidates must have a BS Degree or higher in electrical engineering or physics.
    • Candidates with an MS degree in electrical engineering or physics are preferred
