    *Job Description:
    The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor is responsible for providing quality care to the patients. Delivers direct care by administering medications, consulting with healthcare providers and updating patient records. Always maintains patient comfort and safety.

    *Responsibilities:
    • Promotes regulatory compliance through demonstrating working knowledge of long term care regulations and participating in efforts towards consistent survey readiness and assisting with completing plan of correction.
    • Assists the nursing team in providing resident care when professional nursing skills/judgment is needed.
    • Continually supervises and evaluates resident care throughout the shift
    • Ensures any staffing changes are in alignment with budgeted staffing plan. Address any staffing concerns as they arise
    • Identify learning needs of staff and participate in educational opportunities in collaboration with the Staff Development Coordinator and nursing leaders.
    • Provide mentoring and coaching to staff when needed.
    • Round on each nursing unit and respond to issues as needed/requested.
    • Demonstrate effective communication skills and positive service excellence behaviors when dealing with all customers.
    • Responsible for interacting directly with residents' families to answer their questions and ease their concerns.
    • Ensures and/or assists with transcribing all doctor orders timely and accurately.
    • Oversees and/or assists with administering IVs and other medications.
    • Assists with or complete admissions/discharging of the residents.
    • Ensure safety of residents, customers and facility through awareness of and conscientious application of policies and procedures and emergency responses.
    *Qualifications for the RN Supervisor: * previous RN Supervisor experience would be lovely

    • Current Delaware RN license

    Up to $50.00 per hour
