    Responsibilities include:

    • Process prescription requests with care and build reliable customer relationships
    • Resolve rejected insurance claims efficiently
    • Follow department procedures accurately for dispensing medication and maintaining inventory
    • Assist in daily tasks and ensure smooth operations in the department
    • Handle products correctly, maintain equipment, and follow sanitation guidelines

    Requirements:

    • Proficiency in computer skills
    • Capability to perform basic mathematical computations for data entry and prescription filling
    • May require Pharmacy Technician certification as per state regulations
    • In New Jersey, applicants must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in inventory management and product ordering
    • Prior Pharmacy Technician experience
    • Pharmacy Technician Certification

    Note to applicants: Certification or state registration may be mandatory in some locations to work as a Pharmacy Technician. Wegmans will support individuals through this process if hired prior to obtaining the necessary qualifications.
