A tax, accounting and advisory CPA firm is searching for a Senior Tax Accountant CPA to join their team in Clearwater, FL In this role, the Senior Tax Accountant CPA will primarily be responsible for tasks such as reviewing accounting work, completing tax returns and projections, tax planning, and tax compliance.
They will also be required to interact with clients to build relationships and ensure that information flow is understood and implemented.
The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 4-7 years of relevant experience, hold an active CPA license, and possess strong technical skills in tax accounting software and Quickbooks Online.
Pay Range:
$95,000 - $115,000 DOE
Responsibilities
Review accounting work and complete tax returns and projections for corporations, pass-through entities, and individualsRespond to IRS and State tax notices and draft correspondence with tax agenciesConduct tax research and work with advisors to provide tax planning and compliance servicesInteract and build relationships with clients to ensure information flow is understood and implementedPrepare and review financial packages during month-end, quarter-end, and year-endIdentify performance improvement opportunities and participate in educational opportunitiesWork with firm management on projects and assist in day-to-day duties such as monthly accounting and reconciliations
Requirements
4-7 years of relevant experience in tax accountingActive CPA license is preferredOpen to EA with experience in corporate taxesStrong technical skills in tax accounting software, fixed asset management, and Quickbooks OnlineExperience in completing tax returns and projectionsStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to manage time effectively and prioritize tasksMeticulous problem solver with analytical thinking and multi-tasking abilitiesDesire to be in a client-facing roleExperience in small business tax accountingExcellent customer service skills
