    Job DescriptionDiabetes and Endocrine Specialists is seeking a full-time Medical Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with patients, providing excellent care, and building relationships. The position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the medical office and the staff.


    Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversees the day-to-day operations of the office, including scheduling, insurance and eligibility verification, referral management, training and managing staff and evaluating staff performance.

    Oversees optimal patient care and clinic flow so that clinical schedules are optimized.
    Supports staff, as necessary, to achieve daily and weekly goals.
    Handles patient complaints and resolves issues in a timely and professional manner.
    Coordinates patient care with other medical staff members to ensure quality patient care and manages patient billing.
    Maintains a clean and organized medical office environment.
    Ensures that all administrative duties are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
    Ensures compliance with HIPPA and OSHA guidelines at all times.
    Establishes office policies and procedures.
    Keeps inventory of necessary office supplies and orders office and medical supplies while keeping budgetary issues in mind.
    Works with vendors to maintain and purchase consumables and equipment for the practice.

    Has a good understanding of payers (commercial, Medicare, IPAs) and works with payers and plans to ensure safe and smooth information exchange.

    Serves as hub for our patients and make sure they are treated like family.

    The successful candidate will possess experience in an outpatient setting with a background in specialty care.

    This is a full-time position that will require regular attendance at work, as well as flexibility to work remotely or in different locations, part-time can be discussed, also.

    This position requires a candidate who has significant prior experience managing daily operations of a medical office. Payrates outside of the posted bracket can be discussed for highly qualified individuals.
