The Receiver/Stocker plays a crucial role in unloading incoming freight, moving items to the sales floor, organizing departments, handling hazardous materials, maintaining shelving, managing the backroom, and ensuring equipment readiness. Moreover, they arrange merchandise and top stock to optimize sales performance. To excel in this role, one must be prepared for the physical demands of moving items for the majority of the shift, and be available for morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight shifts depending on the store's requirements.
Travel Requirements:
While regular travel is not necessary, occasional trips may be required for meetings, training sessions, or to support neighboring stores.
Full-time positions typically schedule 39 to 40 hours per week, while part-time roles may entail up to 25 hours per week, with additional hours based on store needs. Candidates should be available for morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight shifts any day of the week, and possess the physical capability for prolonged standing, sitting, and lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted.
