    Job DescriptionRole

    As a CNC Machinist (also known as CNC Machine Operator, CNC Technician), you'll be responsible for setting up and operating Vertical Turning Centers (VTLs) like Doosan and Toshiba. Your tasks will include reading and interpreting blueprints, determining tooling requirements, monitoring machine operations, and ensuring the quality of finished work pieces. You'll also have the opportunity to recommend production improvement methods and assist in solving technical challenges.

    Qualifications
    • 5+ years CNC machining experience setting up and running Vertical Turning Centers (VTLs).
    • Experience with Mastercam programming and editing, and Fanuc controls preferred.
    • Ability to lift materials up to 50 pounds, experience operating overhead crane and hoists preferred.
    • Proficiency in GD&T and Blueprint Reading.
    • Experience working in a "job shop" preferred (low quantities/highly technical pieces).
