    Job Title: Utility Inspector II at JMT

    JMT's Construction Management Team is on the lookout for a Utility Inspector II to join their team. If you have a keen eye for quality and safety, this role might be a perfect fit for you.



    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
    • Review and interpret plans, specifications, and construction methods
    • Conduct routine tests on materials
    • Verify dimensions, alignment, and elevation of utilities and structures
    • Maintain accurate records and field notes

    Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities:
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Required Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 1-4 years of Utility and Construction Inspection Experience
    • Proficiency in computers
    • Valid driver's license

    Preferred Experience:
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
    • Relevant certifications

    Working Conditions:

    Field work may involve bending, kneeling, standing, shoveling, and lifting objects. Conditions can vary from heat to cold and wet to dry.
