- Research and explore machine learning algorithms and methodologies relevant to our industry and business goals
- Develop proof-of-concept models and prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility and potential impact of machine learning solutions
- Work with Automation Solutions team to integrate machine learning models into existing systems/applications
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing data for training and evaluation purposes
- Document processes, methodologies, and results for knowledge sharing and future reference
- Stay informed about the latest advancements and best practices in machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Provide general administrative and system support as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to remain in a sitting stationary position for extended periods of time
- Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and methodologies
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in machine learning such as Python
- Proficiency in SQL for executing data engineering tasks, including designing and optimizing database schemas, querying and manipulating data, and setting up reliable data pipelines to support machine learning model development and deployment
- Experience with machine learning libraries/frameworks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to address complex problems
- Ability to meet deadlines, handle confidential data, and be adaptable when facing difficult situations
- Proficiency in using office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office
- Availability to commit to a part-time hrs) or full-time internship during academic breaks or as part of a co-op program
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment
- Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy
