    Lead Electronics Engineer


    Tampa Bay Area Position Overview:
    Our client is currently looking for a Lead Power Electronics Engineer in the Tampa Bay area.

    As a Lead Power Electronics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of cutting-edge electronic systems.

    Leveraging your expertise in power electronics, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to fruition.
    Utilize a strong background in power electronics to design electronic circuits.
    Collaborate with Electrical Engineers and Principal Architects to gain comprehensive understanding of design requirements.
    Partner with Project Manager to provide accurate quotes for projects.
    Demonstrate leadership by overseeing and guiding the Electrical Engineering team.
    Execute circuit and schematic design, including component selection and layout of analog and digital embedded systems.
    Utilize computer-assisted engineering/design software and equipment to optimize designs.
    Foster and manage relationships with electronics vendors and contract manufacturers.
    Lead design reviews to ensure compliance with project objectives and industry best practices.
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

    Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical hardware, including experience in designing electrical systems and leading tasks or managing tasks individually.

    Strong background in power electronics, including proficiency in AC/DC, DC/AC, and DC/DC power conversion, DC/DC power supply, grid-connected inverters (3-level and 5-level), and energy storage.

    Experience in writing and designing to specifications, as well as creating test plans.

    Expertise in embedded systems, processor selection, various communication protocols, analog design, sensor design, low power design, audio technologies, and display.
