    Role Summary: As a Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in fueling ACT Research's growth. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and cultivating relationships that convert into lasting partnerships. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with a passion for sales and a deep interest in the economy, transportation, logistics and commercial vehicle markets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute strategies to identify and target high-potential clients, focusing on our highest growth opportunities.
    • Manage and nurture leads, from initial contact through to sale closure, ensuring a robust pipeline of business opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine messaging and outreach strategies based on market feedback and trends.
    • Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars, both to network with potential clients and to stay abreast of the latest industry developments.
    • Drive engagement and registration for ACT Research's key annual events, leveraging these platforms to enhance client relationships and business development efforts.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Experience & Skills: A track record in business development or sales, ideally within logistics, freight markets, or related sectors. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade at all levels. Strategic thinking, with a knack for identifying opportunities and solving problems creatively.
    • Characteristics: Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to dynamic market conditions. A genuine curiosity about the transportation industry and a commitment to lifelong learning. Excellent team player who values collaboration as much as individual achievement.
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related fields. Relevant experience can be considered in lieu of formal education.
