Job Description

Trilogy Innovations is looking for Software Developers to support a federal customer in Clarksburg, WV. You have the chance to join a growing team and be part of a project to update the customer's IT systems. This position requires a Secret Security Clearance and is mainly remote.

Role Requirements

Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience.
Active Tier 3 Secret clearance.
Experience with AWS, Java, XML is a plus.
Experience with IBM z14 mainframes, zOS operating system, CICS, DB2, Cobol, and Java is desired.
Experience in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

Develop, modify, and create computer applications or utility programs.
Analyze user needs and create software solutions.
Design or customize software to improve operational efficiency.
Analyze and design databases, working individually or as part of a team.
Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software.
Set operational specifications and analyze software requirements.
Design embedded systems software.
Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis principles.

Main Objectives

Transfer current-system features to a cloud-based environment.
Enhance name search capabilities.
Improve image handling and support more file formats.
Switch investigative search to Elasticsearch for faster responses.
Create new services following a microservices architecture.
Update database functionality to a cloud data store.
Revise NIEM schemas and IEPDs for enhanced functionality.
