    About this opportunity

    We are looking for a Senior Revenue Analyst Contractor to support our System and Services revenue accounting. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly journal entries, general ledger accounting reconciliations, and other revenue accounting operational activities for month-end and quarter-end close.

    You will report directly to the Sr. Manager, System and Services Revenue Accounting and support the North America region.

    You should have prior experience with US GAAP Revenue accounting and have a specific understanding of the allocation of multiple performance obligations within a contract.

    In this role, you will...

    Be a key contributor to the month-end revenue close cycle by validating accounting for product and services revenue which includes:

    o Adherence to the Corporate Revenue Team close calendar

    o Completion and posting general ledger journal entries

    o Completion and upload of GL account reconciliations

    o Completion and analysis of monthly and quarterly internal and external reporting requirements

    o Fluctuation and trend analysis completion and reporting

    o Participation in monthly/quarterly meetings with the team and key business partners

    o Supporting internal and external audit requests

    Ensure accurate and timely reporting of revenue within the company's accounting systems by utilizing US GAAP by analyzing and understanding the various product and services offerings

    Ensure the integrity of key processes by understanding the various systems, flow of transactions, internal controls

    Work cross-functionally with Operations and Commercial teams

    Assist with review of customer contracts and promotions in order to apply proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 guidance and company policies

    In this role, you'll need ...
    • Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting/Finance
    • CPA or CMA preferred
    • 6-10 years of progressive experience - preferably a mix of Big 4 accounting firm experience and public companies with multiple, complex revenue streams in a high-growth environment
    • Strong knowledge of and experience in applying revenue guidance under ASC 606, preferably at a technology company
    • Experience in managing revenue accounting processes within a large-scale ERP, preferably SAP
    • Ability to work both independently and as a trusted teammate in a dynamic environment
    • Detail-oriented focus and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Moderate to Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analytical charts, etc.)
    • Proven written and verbal English communication skills
