Description

The Division of Adult Infectious Diseases at the Medical Center has an opening at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for a Physician-Scientist to join a large academic group that is involved in clinical care, teaching, and cutting edge research, both clinical-transnational and laboratory-based.

The position will entail serving as the attending physician on inpatient services, primarily the ID Consult Service, as well as in the outpatient ID Clinic.

This position will involve the supervision of medical students, residents, and ID fellows. Faculty members will also participate in research.

Although we will consider all types of physician-investigators, the ideal candidate would have training and experience in patient-based clinical or translational research, or in health services research/outcomes studies.
