As an RF Engineer II, your responsibilities would include designing and optimizing radio frequency (RF) circuits and systems, conducting simulations, and testing prototypes.
Strong knowledge of RF principles, circuit design, and experience with tools like MATLAB, ADS, or similar software would be essential.
Additionally, you might be involved in troubleshooting and providing technical support.Core Responsibilities of the RF Engineer II:
the detailed analysis and design of RF and mixed-signal communications hardware components, including but not limited to digital receiver subsystems and exciters.
This involves mastery over various components such as front ends, IF sections, phase-lock loops, AGC loops, synthesizers, and A/D and D/A conversion processes.
Direct the system integration, testing, and development of RF/millimeter-wave communications hardware for spaceflight applications, exploring new communications technologies for spaceflight.
Work alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure that designs meet all customer and internal requirements, serving as the primary technical interface for customers, participating in technical meetings, and aiding in the development of customer specification.
