    Description
    Hybrid 2-3 days onsite.
    Duration: 12 months with option to extend up to 24 months
    Location: 150 N Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX

    Projects Business Analyst is responsible for identifying and documenting the business needs of their clients and stakeholders and helping to determine feasible solutions to meet business needs or resolve business problems.

    This position has the following accountabilities:

    Precisely capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements, including health, safety, security, usability, data, and supportability considerations.
    Translate business requirements into functionality and assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solution options.

    Assess, use queries, and model processes, data flows, and technology to understand the current value and issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.

    Create clear documentation to communicate requirements and related information; keep updated to align with the solution over the project lifecycle.

    Ensure traceability of requirements from business needs and requirements, through testing and scope changes, to final solution.

    Interact with infrastructure suppliers, architects, and vendors to understand technical and process limitations, and ensure that business requirements and use cases are handled.

    Configure and document processes, templates and software queries using agreed standards and tools.
    Create acceptance criteria and validate that solutions meet business needs through defining and coordinating testing.
    Seek guidance from more experienced Client and be open to learning on-the-job. [Unique Characteristics of the Posting]
    Assist with collection and management of application/server migration data. Establish ownership and process to keep data evergreen.
    Create queries to pull application/server information from SNOW.
    Assist in coordination with OLMs, Business IT, and vendor during migrations - test planning, runbook creation, resource planning, etc.
    Assist in putting together Executive updates.

    Special Challenges:
    Co-ordinating discussions with OLMs and business to discuss and get consensus on hosting solution roadmap recommendations. Guide business stakeholders to gain acceptance and signoff on solution and associated risks.

    Describe potential solutions in terms easily understood by T&S SOM and business stakeholders and set realistic customer expectations for the project outcome.

    Adjust customer expectations in accordance with changes in scope.
    Generate innovative approaches to existing problems and new opportunities.
    Work closely with stakeholders to build trust and understand their goals, motivations, constraints, risks, and operating environment


    Skills & Requirements:

    Familiarity with T&S Application Landscape
    Familiarity with hosting infrastructure and terminology
    Familiarity with ServiceNow (SNOW) queries
    Experience working with ISP vendors, specifically T-Systems is preferable.
    Ability to take a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving and pay close attention to detail.
    Strong interpersonal skills
