    Description
    *Mechanical Design Engineer

    • Mechanical Design Engineer
    * $85,000 - $105,000

    Responsibilities:

    • Customer interaction to help establish machinery requirements and determining automated processes
    • Design and manage complete machine assemblies while maintaining company design procedures
    • Delivering design presentations with both internal and customer teams to ensure all requirements are satisfied
    • Tracking design progress of multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously, and ensuring design consistency
    • Creation of documentation for the machine build process
    • Interaction and cooperation with other departments. (Machining, Welding, Purchasing, Assembly)

    Qualifications:

    • Extensive experience with 3D Modeling (i.eSolidWorks) and 2D Drafting Software (i.eAutoCAD)
    • Experience with application of GD&T in design and details
    • Experience in machine and mechanism design
    • Experience with automation equipment i.e. robotics, drives, transmission devices
    • Experience with fabrication methods and tolerances for manufacture of industrial automation equipment (i.e. machining, sheet metal, welding, finishing)
    • Proven ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize simultaneous tasks
    • Ability to work with other engineers and disciplines to relay technical information and effectively contribute in meetings/discussions/brainstorming sessions
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently
    • MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project or other Project Management Software

    This role is commutable from:

    Rochester, Westgate, North Chili, Churchville, Spencerport, Adams Basin, Ridgemont, Bergen, Brockport, Brighton, Genesee Junction, Scottsville, West Henrietta, Clifton and Belcoda.
