- Instruction and Skill Development:
- Teach young athletes fundamental volleyball skills like bumping, passing, setting, and serving.
- Organize age-appropriate drills and exercises to enhance players' abilities.
- Offer constructive feedback to help players improve.
- Participate in mandatory preseason training sessions.
- Game Officiating:
- Officiate youth volleyball games to ensure fairness and rule adherence.
- Maintain a professional and unbiased approach.
- Address rule violations and conflicts fairly.
- Safety and Supervision:
- Ensure participant safety during practices & games.
- Supervise and create a positive atmosphere for young athletes.
- Act promptly on any safety concerns.
- Communication:
- Keep open communication with parents, participants, and staff.
- Provide updates on program activities.
- Handle questions and feedback professionally.
- Prior coaching or playing experience in volleyball.
- Good understanding of volleyball rules and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, especially with children and parents.
- Passion for youth sports and athlete development.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive mindset.
- Available to work weekends during the season.
