- Perform pre-procedure assessments, including reviewing patient history, obtaining vital signs, and ensuring appropriate informed consent.
- Assist the physician during catheterization procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring patient status.
- Administer medications and monitor patient response during and after procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Assess and document patient condition, including vital signs, cardiac rhythm, and neurovascular status, throughout the procedure.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education regarding post-procedure care and discharge instructions.
- Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
