    Family Medicine opening in Kansas
    • Located in Ellsworth, KS - 113 miles from Wichita Full-time, permanent opening Employed position Joining a growing group practice with 3 other Primary Care Physicians, 2 full-time PA, 1 full-time APRN, and 1 part-time APRN Recruiting as a replment Looking for someone to start ASAP Weekend coverage is on a separate call contract ER primary call back-up coverage is on a rotating schedule
    • Currently, specialists in cardiology, nephrology, professional hearing, gastroenterology, podiatry, orthopedics, OB/GYN, wound care and mental health services, etc. provide out-patient or telemedicine clinics at the facilityCompensation & Benefit package: Competitive base salary plus production compensation Negotiable dependent on background and experience with quality measure incentives Sign-on bonus Loan forgiveness program Relocation costs Continuing medical education allowance Alternative to Social Security program (414(h) pension plans (401(a), 403(b)(7) and 457)

    As the county seat of Ellsworth County, Ellsworth is located just seven miles south of I-70 and is accessible by Kansas highways 14, 140 and 156.

    The community takes pride in its storied past. The county, a fort, and our City were named for Lt. Allen Ellsworth. Fort Ellsworth, later to be known as Fort Harker, was established in 1864.

    As rumors spread that the Kansas Pacific Railroad would establish their western terminal near the fort, speculators flocked to Ellsworth to seek their fortunes.

    The cattle drovers brought many people and livestock to the City via the Ellsworth Trail and played a key role in Ellsworth's early development.

    During this surge of population, the City of Ellsworth was established on May 8, 1867.

    Severe flooding forced the City upstream a few miles to its present site where it has evolved into a great pl to raise a family and an even better pl to call home.
